SOUTHERN STEAM PHOTOS

My main railway interest was in Germany, especially 3 cylinder oil fired pacific 012 100-4, owned by the German Railways Museum and operated with the Rendsburger Eisenbahnfreunde. That loco is not now operating, despite a new boiler in 2005! My past coverage of that loco and other steam activities has moved to germansteam.co.uk. I still need my "Steam Fix", and the 40th anniversary of the end of SR, BR steam, (July 1967), where I did most of my early photography and travelling behind steam, re-ignited my interest in SR steam. I now photo some locos from the 1960's that run, well, that run anywhere! Plus a few standard classes. For 2007 I split these between "Main line" and "Preserved lines".
